Denver Engagement Photos
Incredible style, undeniable connection and beautiful cityscapes. Tanaya and Nikko’s engagement session had it all!
When they told me they wanted Denver engagement photos, I was pumped! I love telling stories in the city I call home.
This session felt like a beautiful example of my tagline lived out. My tagline for my business is “Let’s get creative” and I truly do want to create with you. You know when you were in middle school and the teacher assigned you to the best group ever for a group project? You maybe did a little happy dance inside while trying to play it cool on the outside? That’s how I want this to feel! (But you can do your happy dance on the outside, too). I want my clients to be a part of the process. I want it to feel like a collaborative effort.
Prior to the session, I location scouted to find the perfect parking garage for their session. I sent some photos/videos in our group chat, and Tanaya and Nikko told me which one they loved. Tanya loves the look of City Hall, so we knew that would be one of our locations. As they researched to find the perfect outfits for the session, Tanaya sent what she was thinking in the group chat. I got more and more excited as we planned!
Their vision was all things classy, chic, urban and fun. It was all coming together! And it really felt like a group effort to make their vision come to life… just the way I like it!
We started out at Denver’s city hall, which I loved! The architecture of this building is unique and was so fun to incorporate into their photos.
Can we talk about these all black fits? I love the contrast against the building and stairs!
One of my favorite details of this session was the couple’s matching tattoos! At first I complimented Nikko on his tattoo and Tanaya was like “I have one too!” How cute is that?!
Next, we headed downtown to the parking garage! I just love this spot! Every angle was amazing, even down at the street level!
Tanya had told me she was planning on wearing a little white dress, but this exceeded my expectations! These two crushed it in the fashion department.
I felt like the majority of the session was all of us laughing and having a good time! It’s obvious these two are so comfortable together and excited to become husband and wife. It was so sweet to document their love for each other and for the city they call home!
These two came in with a vision for their Denver engagement photos, and I think we knocked it out of the park. It’s an honor to create alongside all of my amazing couples! I can’t wait to do it all over again on Tanaya and Nikko’s wedding day.
