“Katie is an amazing photographer! From our first call, she was so easy to work with. I had reached out about 2 months before our requested date and Katie helped me with the logistics quickly and efficiently. She offered tips on where to start our photoshoot and was willing to drive around to multiple locations to capture my vision. The photos are BEAUTIFUL! It ended up pouring on us halfway through our photoshoot but Katie had cute umbrellas ready and the weather didn't phase her! She immediately thought of creative ways to continue our photoshoot and she was so patient when we wanted to involve our dog in some photos. She managed our entire family so well and everyone loved her. We are so thankful to have found Katie” -Bride Stef Ebo

Elopement FAQs

  • Yes, I’d love to! We’ll brainstorm together and find a location you’re excited about. I use my local trail knowledge, Google earth and All-trails to location scout.

Check my Best Places to Elope in Colorado blog to get inspired!

  • I require a signed contract and 25% deposit to lock in your date.

  • You will receive a sneak peek within 72 hours and your final gallery in 8-10 weeks.

  • Sometimes! The two biggest factors that will determine if you need a permit is the location and your guest count. I am happy to help with the process!

  • Nope! Colorado is a beautiful free-for-all when it comes to wedding ceremonies. You can self solemnize, which means you don’t need an officiant or witnesses to make your marriage legal.

If you like to sound of having an officiant to guide you through the ceremony, you absolutely can! Reach out if you’d like recommendations.

  • Personally, I think Colorado is stunning all year round, so it depends on what is important to you!

If you want to be able to access the high elevation roads and dream of summery, green backdrops, I’d suggest eloping June-August.

If you like the idea of fall foliage and crisp mountain air, I’d suggest September-mid October.

If a winter landscape excites you, I’d suggest February-April.

Keep in mind there can be snow in the mountains from October-May!
